In 1989 God radically changed my life. From that moment in time, I knew I was being called into full-time ministry—but God knew I wasn’t ready. God first wanted me to experience life as a youth leader, Sunday school teacher, husband, business owner, father of two, deacon, and eventually an ordained minister.

In 2007, my wife and I decided to sell our business to serve as full-time missionaries with a worldwide ministry. During those 16 years, I always felt God may be calling me to step out and focus on business owners/leaders, fathers, and husbands in our community. I wanted to serve them in a way that Caleb, one of the greatest leaders in the Old Testament, served and encouraged Joshua.I believe what God taught me through running a business that honors Him for almost 20 years and then serving and ministering to men, business leaders and boards for 16 years was His way of preparing me for a time such as this.My heart is to come alongside men that desire to know, or know deeper, our Heavenly Father and to seek and know what He wants for their life and how they can lead in a way that impacts those they lead in a way that inspires them to seek the same for their lives.

God decided that now was the time and that’s how Caleb’s Call began.

Caleb’s Call is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that will boldly go out into the community to seek business leaders, business owners, men, husbands, and fathers who want to see their businesses, homes, and communities stand up for the gospel of Jesus Christ and lead from a biblical worldview, both in the home and in the workplace. We are called to make disciples, walk alongside, encourage, and support those who are called by His name.

Robbie Finley

Founder

Robbie Finley grew up in Northwest Metro Atlanta, where his life was transformed by faith in 1989 by attending Macland Baptist Church. He began feeling a call to pursue full-time ministry. Despite this calling, he spent 17 years running his own business, which he sold in 2007.

During this period, Robbie developed a deep passion for guiding men to fulfill their God-given potential. After nearly 17 years of serving in a global sports ministry, God led Robbie to establish Caleb’s Call, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to ministering to men. Drawing on his experiences in business and honoring God with integrity through leading a team in ministry, Robbie believes God has prepared him to understand what men go through day to day.

Therefore, his goal is to serve, inspire, and empower men to lead themselves, their families, and their businesses in ways that honor and bless God. Robbie has been happily married to his wife, Sheri, for 31 years, and together, they have raised two children and are blessed with four grandchildren.

IN THE BEGINNING

I have always felt a connection with Caleb and his faith in God, as well as his support of Joshua as the successor to Moses. I believe God is calling me to support and encourage leaders in our community as they grow in their commitment to God, their families, and their employees.
